I came to her hoping EMS (electronic muscle stimulation) might help reduce my chronic back pain by strengthening my core. I stopped by to see Shelley a bit impromptu. We were at an event on a Sunday and she opened up her studio to give me a treatment. The location is very fun. In the future I would love to walk the area and see all the shops.
Shelley did a treatment on a area where I have some scares form a surgery. I have had numbness in the area. The treatment itself feels very cold. As the skin started warming up after the treatment it got a bit itchy. I think this is great because when your nerves have loss of sensation the itchiness can be a sign of them repairing. I also have had some swelling in the area and can see a slight improvement. The area is a bit softer and slightly less pronounced.
I wish I lived closer so I could get treatments more frequently. Love the results so far and it has only been a couple days. Highly recommended.

Yes. Cryotherapy has been used in clinical and sports settings for decades. Cold exposure is controlled, timed, and monitored by a certified operator. You’re never alone during treatment. Most people feel energized and have zero adverse effects.
Does it hurt?
No. It’s cold, not painful. Most clients describe it as a refreshing, invigorating sensation. The first 30 seconds feel cold—then you acclimate. By the end of your session, you feel energized and warm. Not painful.
How many sessions until I see results?
Most clients see visible change after 4–6 sessions. Results build progressively. Your intro gives you a baseline photo. Come back weekly for best results. Shelley will show you the changes as they happen.
